BRIAN PATRICK MOORE FOR FLORIDA STATE SENATE 11 Green Party Candidate (District includes Hernando, Citrus, Sumter counties; small part of West Pasco county) “Make Florida Affordable Again!" Green Party candidate makes impressive showing at business forum in Hernando County! Moore’s 88 votes to 142 for his term-limited state representative opponent, in a straw vote, surprises business community where there were predominantly multiple Republican candidates and supporters in attendance! NEWS RELEASE Effective Immediately, Thursday, July 21, 2022 Spring Hill, Florida: Green Party candidate Brian Moore, in a State Senate 11 campaign race, pulled off a surprising straw vote performance gaining 88 votes to his Republican opponents’ 142 at the annual Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce forum Thursday night, July 14, at Challenger K-8 school in the city of Spring Hill. The business community forum, with predominantly Republican candidates and their supporters and staffs who were in the majority present, apparently saw merit in the Green Party candidate’s personal appearance and demeanor, and in his willingness to engage the Republican community. Moore's Republican opponent, Blaise Ingoglia, nor any of his supporters, were present the entire evening. The district includes all of Hernando, Sumter and Citrus counties, and smaller part of West Pasco County. Moore is competing against Blaise Ingoglia, a local state representative who was term-limited after eight years of pushing a right-wing agenda. No Democrats qualified, so it will be a two-person race in November’s general election between Moore and Ingoglia. ---END--- Brian's website: Campaign e-mail: Moore for State Senate 11 PO Box 6843 Spring Hill, Florida 34611
