Activist incensed by U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops's silence on Trump cuts to refugee programs, displayed Pope's strong migrant concerns to his own parish on Easter Sunday!
Protestor says "his Easter Sunday action was a 'premonition tribute' to the Immigrant Pope's imminent death only hours later in Rome."
by Brian Patrick Moore, Easter Monday, April 21, 2025

Moore took this picture upon sharing his "All Immigrants have Rights!" sign with a protestor John Menino, at Saturday protest on State Road 50 (Cortez Blvd). A fellow protestor, Sandra, who took the previous picture of Moore, displays her "Checks n Balance" sign. Moore also used his "Immigrant Rights" sign, which he made, the following day, Easter Sunday, at St. Theresa's Catholic Church.

Picture of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, and empty parking lot, is located adjacent to U.S. Highway 19,(Commercial Way) in Spring Hill, Florida. In the background, behind the church, there are two entrances to the church from the busy highway. Moore stood at both locations, before and after the 9:30 and 11:00 AM Easter Masses displaying his signs supporting immigrants. Several honked in agreement, but there were several parishioners who shouted from their open car windows, that "illegal immigrants have no rights!" Moore agrees with the Pope who said "Christian Charity requires helping those in need, not just those in one's closest circles." Pope Francis' quote was in response to Vice-President J.D. Vance's commented by implication that the Bishops were supporting the immigrants only for the money.

The free-lance photographer in pink shirt, Jazzlyn Moctezuma, took several pictures of Brian and will soon share some of her up-close pictures of the crowd of protestors and their diverse messages.
